Gotham City Sirens is an upcoming film directed by David Ayer and written by Geneva Robertson-Dworet. It will feature "the top female villains from the DC stable".[1]

Production history

It was reported in May 2016 that a spin-off film was in development centered on Harley Quinn, with Margot Robbie reprising her role, featuring other female DC Comics characters.[2] In September, it was announced that Margot Robbie's LuckyChap Entertainment would help develop the film.[3] In November 2016, it was announced that Christina Hodson would write the screenplay for the film.[4] However, the following month it was announced that Geneva Robertson-Dworet would instead pen it, with David Ayer directing and producing the film, now officially titled Gotham City Sirens.[1] He also teased appearances of Catwoman and Poison Ivy.[5]
