- Chase for the kryptonite: Batman chases down Anatoli Knyazev and his men in the Batmobile in order to steal the kryptonite they're carrying, but is intercepted by Superman.[3][16]

- Bombing of the United States Capitol: Lex Luthor orchestrates a bombing at the hearing of Superman, having hidden explosives in Wallace Keefe's wheelchair. The bomb is detonated, destroying the entire room and killing everyone inside except for Superman.[3][16]
- Using the LexCorp files, Batman and Wonder Woman discover the existence of metahumans, specifically Aquaman, Cyborg and the Flash.[3][16]
13th[]
- Duel at Gotham Port: Superman is forced to battle Batman and loses. He is spared by Batman after Batman gains knowledge of Lex Luthor's sinister plan.[3][16]
- Rescue of Martha Kent: Batman saves Martha Kent and lets Anatoli Knyazev die.[3][16]
- Lex Luthor creates Doomsday.[3][16]
- Showdown in Gotham Port:
- Doomsday is unleashed against Superman, who is assisted by Batman and Wonder Woman.[3][16]
- After using a kryptonite spear to successfully kill the monster, Superman is subsequently speared by Doomsday's spike as well.[3][16]
- Shortly before dying Superman's scream is heard all over the planet, including the island of Themyscira.[4]
- The Mother Box retrieved by S.T.A.R. Labs starts working shortly after the death of Superman.[6]

- Funeral of Clark Kent: a funeral is held for Clark Kent at the Kent Farm and later at Smallville Cemetery.[3][16]
- Lex Luthor is sent to Arkham Asylum, where he's shaved completely. Batman later reaches him and reveals that he's going to be relocated in Belle Reve. Lex states that "God" is now dead, and that there is something else, something bigger coming, from outer space.[3][16]
