The Father Knickenbocker Wax Museum is a wax museum on the Lower West Side of Gotham City.[1]

History[]

The Father Knickenbocker Wax Musuem opened in a restored tenement building on the Lower West Side of Gotham City. After opening, the wax museum would later introduce wax figures of contemporary Gothamites with their faces contorted in horror, gaining notoriety for their disturbingly realistic level of detail.

Behind the Scenes[]

In DC Comics, the Father Knickenbocker Wax Museum was an abandoned wax museum on the west side of Gotham City that became the home of the third Clayface, Preston Payne. There, Payne fell in love with Helena, one of the wax figures. The museum was later burned down in a fire, which Payne was assumed to have perished in.
