The Ellsworth Building is a skyscraper in the Diamond District of Gotham City's Midtown.

Overview[]

Known as the 'darling of the Diamond District,' the Ellsworth Building is known for its art deco architecture. It is widely regarded as an art deco masterpiece, and is often replicated as collectibles such as keychains and snowglobes.[1] The most iconic of the building's art deco designs is an enormous stylized face on one side, spanning several of the upper stories and looming over Gotham pedestrians making their way up Second Avenue. The building also has a reservations-only observation deck and a small souvenir shop.[2]

It stands with Wayne Tower, Davenport Tower, and the Clocktower as some of the most recognizable buildings in downtown Gotham City.[3]

During the New Year's Eve celebrations in Gotham City, a timer is projected on the side of the Ellsworth Building.[4]
