Davenport Tower is a building in Gotham City's Diamond District. It is one of the tallest buildings in the Gotham skyline and contains the popular shopping mall Davenport Center.[1][2]
Davenport Center[]
Davenport Center is a shopping mall located within the six lowest floors of Davenport Tower. The mall has an emphasis on womenswear, which makes it ideal for browsing designer dresses, global imports, handcrafted jewelry, leather accessories, and totes. It also sells upscale beauty products such as nail polishes, lipsticks, and eyeshadows.[3]
Trivia[]
- Davenport Center is open daily from 9 am to 9 pm.[3]
- Davenport Center's phone number is 1-467 555 0122.[3]
- Davenport Center's website is www.davenportcenter.got.[3]
Behind the Scenes[]
- Davenport Tower is likely a reference to J. Devlin Davenport from DC Comics, a wealthy real estate developer and socialite in Gotham.
- On page 11 of the Gotham City section of Time Out Shortlist Gotham and Metropolis, it says that Davenport Tower hides Davenport Center inside. However, there is a discrepancy here as the full entry for Davenport Center on page 43 describes the center itself as a skyscraper. This article assumes the former information is correct and that Davenport Center is simply part of Davenport Tower.
